Tax credit can save homeowners even more
money
Good news from President
Obama's February 17 announcement...
The recent stimulus package passed by the Congress
directly impacts the energy tax credit to homeowners can take after
having insulated garage door(s) installed on their home. So, if you
insulate your garage or if you have an insulated garage, and you buy
an insulated garage door in 2009 and 2010, GARAGA garage door
dealers can offer you a significant incentive to buy an insulated
garage door.
Headlines:
- The tax credits apply to qualifying purchases
through the end of 2010.
- The tax credit equals 30% of the
product purchse.
- The maximum credit of qualifying purchases is
$1 500.
- Installation costs are not
covered for garage doors, just the garage door system itself.

Under the old tax credit a SHGC (Solar Heat Gain Coefficient) rating
was not required for garage doors. All
Garaga polyurethane
injected doors, including doors with one full row of thermopane
windows, meet or exceed the new required ratings necessary to
qualify for the 2009-2010 tax credit.
